Why it is important to involve parents in preschool education

The most important stage of cognitive development occurs in preschool. Young children absorb
information and stimuli from the outside world like a sponge. If parents and kindergarten mutually work together, they can give children the full support they need to develop their potential.

Parents know their children best and are their first teachers. When children start kindergarten, the parental role changes. Many parents get the feeling that now they are no longer needed and the children are all the essentials in kindergarten. However, it is in the best interest of the child that parents remain active figures in the education process.

1. Meet

Invite parents to the nursery to get to know the environment and staff. Build relationships
in a friendly atmosphere to help parents relax and become more willing to participate in the nursery.

2. Communicate
