Are languages your thing and can you see yourself in customer care?

I am looking for a new addition to my team, a liaison between clients (mostly kindergartens) and us. A bit of a different person who likes people, works hard and has a sense of responsibility.

Twigsee Guru

My name is Lucka and I am responsible for customer care in Twigsee. Twigsee is Czech start-up. We provide application, that helps with digitalization of preschool administration and connect parents with teachers. You can find us at 3 markets now and we keep expanding.

Before I start listing the requirements (and there are not a few), allow me, to make just a few points about me:

  • I believe that positivity transfers and an unhappy employee does not make a happy client.
  • That everyone is responsible for their work.
  • And that unconscious mistakes, are not the problem, but the wheels that move us forward.
  • I am motivated and driven by the people I am surrounded with and believe in a pro-client, pro-employee company.

And why am I telling you this?

Because where and with whom you spend a third of your day matters. And every one of us at Twigsee can identify with that. It should be close to your heart, too.

Apart from language requirements, no great expertise is needed, although experience in customer support is very welcome. Your job will be to help our clients with transition and aftercare.

So, you need:

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Russian or French at a communicative level (spoken and written)
  • Slovak (native speaker or good spoken and written word)
  • Very good expressive skills and ability to work with text
  • Microsoft Office (day-to-day use, i.e. corresponding knowledge)
  • Advantage:
    • Other languages FR resp. RU, NJ
    • “Grammarnazi”

And what qualities should you have?

  • Ability to read text up to here J
  • Great patience and empathy
  • Structured to a degree that allows for quick and creative responses
  • Quick understanding of systems
  • Independence to a degree that still allows for teamwork
  • And did I mention patience?

Terms and Conditions

  • At least 3 times a week working from an office in Karlín (i.e. 2 times a week HO option)
  • Long-term cooperation
  • Starting salary 32500 CZK, increase after about half a year

Twigsee is a start-up, so we are evolving and changing fast. You will encounter a bit of chaos; some things are solved with kind of “punk style”. On the other hand, future possibilities are endless.

Twigsee caught our attention right away from the presentation thanks to the range of functions offered. It wasn't a system that only dealt with attendance or just the registry. It offered us the opportunity to have everything under one roof. And the cherry on top of the cake was the possibility of sending parents contributions about how their children are doing in preschool that day. Parents liked the app very quickly. At first, teachers were more concerned about whether preschool management wanted to give them extra work. However, they soon discovered that writing to parents made them happy, and they also finally have an overview of the children's attendance for each day.
